Soundproofing solutions for every application.
Soundproofing is a means to reducing sound transfer through a given substrate and can be done by adding additional mass to the wall, ceiling or floor and by creating separation between the internal surface and main structure of the building. By doing this ensures unwanted noise is blocked and absorbed preventing sound transfer through the substrate.
High density acoustic panels or high mass acoustic panels will block sound from passing through walls, floors and ceilings, whilst the softer mineral fibre acoustic insulation slabs will absorb any stray sound waves as they try to pass through the substrate.
Creating acoustic separation is easy by using an isolation bar system also known as resilient bars, acoustic isolation hangers or acoustic isolation clips. These systems, used in conjunction with the high density wall, ceiling and flooring panels reduce unwanted noise as it vibrates through the structure.
Soundproofing materials can be fitted to walls, ceilings, floors and/or a combination of all three.
Here at acuphon we have a range of soundproofing solutions covering all types of noise reduction applications, including impact and airborne noise control in both commercial and domestic settings. From Acuphon's sound barriers for walls and ceilings, to acoustic matting for floors.
We provide complete solutions to give you or your client piece of mind…and a good night sleep!
Acuphon have products and systems specifically suited to airborne noise reduction and impact noise reduction.
