Ideal for medium- loud impact and airborne noise - voices, TV noise, music and footfall.
PhonoDeck® Tri35s boards are a ‘Direct to Joist’ acoustic floating floor solution offering high performance impact and airborne noise reduction, it's exceptional impact and airborne performance is helped along with the use of the rubber crumb, for this reason PhonoDeck® Tri35 stands out from the rest. They are a structural acoustic floor decking board, ideal for refurbishments projects and can be laid directly on top of joists and designed to keep the finished floor height to a minimum.
PhonoDeck® Tri35 is ideal for use in refurbishment and conversion applications where privacy and comfort are paramount. PhonoDeck® Tri35s acoustic overlay floorboard provide both an easy and convenient method to reduce airborne sound and impact noise transmission designed for overlaying directly to joist or an existing sub-floor.
These PhonoDeck® composite acoustic overlays provide optimal performance. PhonoDeck® Tri35s boards are strong and rigid, suitable for both 400mm and 600mm joist centres and ceramic tiles can be laid straight on top. Non load bearing partitions can also be built off the this floor. PhonoDeck® is suitable for use in offices, hotels, building extensions, renovations and loft conversions where there is a requirement to improve sound insulation within a property to help comply with building regulations or generally to reduce unwanted noise.
Each PhonoDeck® Tri35s acoustic overlay floorboard has a composition of a tongue & groove high density timber floorboard pre-bonded pre-bonded to recycled polyester and finished with a low resonance flexible recycled resilient rubber crumb underlayer.
The acoustic layer is superior in the market, granting the product longevity with a lasting life of 25+ years with 'bounce back' properties. Where others opt for a grade 1, non-cross linked blue foam where you can expect a 2-5 years service and if a continuous load is on a point the foam will lose its shape reducing acoustic performance.
PhonoDeck® Tri35s boards are made from 22mm T&G4 Chipboard, 5mm recycled polyester and 8mm resilient rubber crumb, to create a finished product that stands 35mm suitable for direct to joist flooring applications.
