Description
IsoPhon® 55 has been designed as a resilient composite batten used to enable the construction of a service void, for general networking or underfloor heating systems whilst reducing impact sound transmission between separating floors.
IsoPhon® 55 complies with Robust Details FFT3 compliant for floor structures EFC-1, EFC-2, E-FC-7 and EFS-1 for that requires a continuous minimum height of 45mm and a minimum laboratory performance of LW 17dB. Upgrading concrete constructions less than 300 kg per m² mass per unit. Exceeding current Building Regulation requirements of Part E (England and Wales), Part H (Scotland) and Part G (Northern Ireland).
Upon installation of the IsoPhon® 55 to comply with Robust Detail FFT3, the battens must then be overlaid with a minimum 18mm tongue and groove board.
